Durable Shoulder Strap

This piston backpack sprayer is specially engineered to deliver a dense, even spray pattern. It’s built with a durable, puncture-resistant synthetic shoulder strap and sturdy aluminum frame, making it easy to transport and use.

High-Performance

This high-performance model has an adjustable pressure regulator with four positions: 15, 30, 45, and 60 psi. It also comes with a piston pump for increased pressure capabilities of up to 90 psi. This sprayer is perfect for use on a variety of surfaces.

In case you would rather use just one lever to open and close the flow, this is a great option. Three-spoke wheels are ideal for navigating rough terrain as well as side compartment attaches so they can quickly be removed on-site when transporting large quantities of liquid fertilizer or pesticides.

Carrying Handle

4-Gallon backpack sprayer features a carrying handle with wand retainer for easy portability and storage. The shoulder straps and waist belts provide comfort while the metal frame is sturdy and stable when filled. Extra-large tank openings make filling and cleaning easier.

Instructions for Use & Storage:

Never fill the sprayer above the max fill line. Always release the pressure prior to painting the boat or lawn, and place the valve cap on before transporting your backyard sprayers from one location to another. Clean out all residue at every filling station with mild soap and water then rinse thoroughly.. Allow tank solids to settle in an open area for 24 hours; mixture will be very foamy but must reach brew strength of 10 PSI within 6-8 days.

Check for consistency daily to assure liquid is not overflowing from the tank. Keep it clean and sanitize any rough surface immediately after use. Both sprayers need frequent cleaning and either weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the environment in which they are used.

What runs the pistons or diaphragm? Gas or battery?

A hand pump creates air pressure to spray. You never have to pump the handle. Opening and closing just make the trigger spray more or less water. You can open it wider than your fist if you want to make a big burst of powdery fine mist that is great for drying off wet horses.

Can I use bleach in this Solo 425-Deluxe 4-Gallon sprayer?

Bleach does have some disinfectant properties, so it could help to clean the sprayer.

You can also use rubbing alcohol or Lavender Oil Spray in the sprayer, with fairly good results! The most important thing is to soak and clean your water pump if you used any of these home remedies. When using stain remover products such as bleach, make sure that the product was left outside for several hours prior to trying them out.

How far can this 4-Gallon sprayer spray?

This sprayer can spray up to 8 feet.

It is heavier but has everything needed to use it day in and out. You practice your spray, learn how far you can go with the adjustment of the hose, so when you actually need water for plants or other purposes at hand less dangerous on yourself or livestock going through all that stuff start spraying!

These Sprayers provide a simple and safe alternative to connection latches that can become damaged, cut loose or fail when under pressure. Under low pressures, most Push To connect sprayers operate smoothly with minimal leaks during shake tests or with no breaking load impulse applied at all; “straight pressurization” is the only test needed for leak-free operation due to the careful design of Pumps Passions.

Tank Sizes

Sprayer Systems can accommodate most spray tank sizes, up to 25 gallons. They also retain technical data allowing comprehensive documentation of product usage and application rates.

The tank capacity allows you to spray longer in your backyard or on the property! Simply flip up the handle and it becomes a portable hose nozzle for spraying off sidewalks, gardens planted with vegetable crops, etc. This was very handy when working around my mother’s tomato beds this summer! I would gear up with all sorts of supplies of hand tools and stuff only to do her one little gardening chore every few weeks.

Adjustable Pressure Regulator

An adjustable pressure regulator allows you to spray at pressures up to 60 psi. I bought a cheaper plastic one that restricted the adjustable nozzle only to 85-90 psi and that was disappointing as every time I filled it, bubbles formed in my weed control solution! Of course, if there is any use for anything less than 90psi then this isn’t really adequate but still not having those small amounts of air escaping into your handle makes things more enjoyable.

Double Filtration System

The double filtration system prevents any bacterial or fungal growth, which keeps the whole unit reliably clean and odor-free! It comes with a nifty nylon holster that attaches to your arm, shoulders/waistband harness so you don’t end up very badly sunburned while still wearing it under your shirt. The nice big handle is comfortable for right-left-handed folks: carry straps on each side of the pack make the whole unit easy to manage. The pack is conveniently a little over two inches in diameter making it more comfortable than other spraying packs I own, such as the Gransfors Bruks Befling 2500.

How to clean SOLO 425?

  1. Remove the backpack from the sprayer.
  2. Disconnect the hoses and attachments.
  3. Remove the filter cover and wash it in warm soapy water.
  4. Rinse the parts with clean water and dry them off.
  5. Reattach the filter cover, hoses, and attachments, and replace any missing parts if necessary.
  6. Reconnect the power cord to the back of the sprayer and plug it into an outlet.
  7. Please turn on the sprayer by pressing its ON/OFF button once or twice until it starts spraying water.

Solo 425 4-Gallon Professional Backpack Sprayer

Tired of the same old travel sprayers that leave a trail of water behind you? Look no further than the Solo 425 4-Gallon Professional Piston Backpack Sprayer. This sprayer is designed for heavy-duty use and is suitable for any job site or professional environment. It’s well built, light, and powerful enough to meet any spraying task at hand. The design has been engineered with comfort in mind as well.

The backpack sprayer has an extra-large tank for long-distance coverage. It has a built-in spark arrestor to protect the engine from firing sparks into the air which can ignite objects. The pump is made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials and the brass nozzle is precision machined for accuracy.

Affordable Price

This is a great sprayer for the price. It has four different nozzles to choose from, which is great. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with a nozzle guard, so it’s important to make sure you keep your finger off the nozzle when using it. Overall, I’m really happy with this sprayer and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to more expensive models.

Spray Nozzles

I Like the four different spray nozzles and Three-tone yellow paint job which is nice looking, not very noticeable when it’s on your back.

What could be better? -The extension tanks are pretty cheap-feeling plastic and fit into the suspension with difficulty at best (I was able to get them in eventually but the first time around they wouldn’t slide in without some force). Nothing major just an observation.

One or two of the extension tubes that come with the backpack will not slide into place without some force and this was frustrating while trying to initially get them out. Also on one side, there are visible scratches because they don’t seem like they’re 100% stress tested before putting them onto these things.

Why is Solo 425 not working properly?

There could be a few reasons why your Solo 425 Professional Piston Backpack Sprayer is not working properly.

  1. The sprayer may not be properly plugged in. Ensure the power cord is plugged into an outlet and the back of the sprayer.
  2. The pump may be clogged or defective. Remove any clogs or debris from the pump using a plunger, garden hose, or vacuum cleaner. If the pump still does not work, replace it.
  3. The hose may be kinked or twisted, preventing it from delivering an even stream of water. Straighten out the hose if it is twisted or kinked.
  4. The filter may be dirty and need to be replaced. Check the filter every time you use the sprayer for signs of wear and tear, such as water leaking through the filter when you turn on the sprayer or water droplets being expelled from the nozzle while spraying. If there are no visible signs of wear and tear, replace the filter with a new one (available at most hardware stores).

How to use Solo 425?

To use the Solo 425 Backpack Sprayer, first make sure that you have the necessary supplies: water, backpack sprayer, and nozzle.

  1. Fill the tank with water and connect the hoses to your garden or lawn.
  2. Push the control button to turn on the backpack sprayer.
  3. Aim the nozzle at the desired area and press the trigger to start spraying.
  4. To stop spraying, press the trigger again or pull out the hose.
  5. Be sure to empty all of the water from the tank before storing it for future use.

The Solo Piston Backpack Sprayer is a great all-around backpack sprayer. It has a bunch of great features that make it a good choice for anyone who needs to apply herbicides or pesticides. If you are looking for an affordable and reliable backpack sprayer, this one is definitely worth considering.

No products found.

The Solo 425 professional 4-gallon backpack sprayer is designed for use with wide pressure ranges up to 90 psi. The front handle is adjustable and can be placed anywhere along the length of the spray bar. This nozzle is made of a material that reduces vibration while preventing over-spraying.

3-stage button

It also has an extra molded flat edge on the tip of this commercial-grade 3-stage button top spray head converts waste solution into mist background and microorganisms, harmful vapor dispersed in the air at high speeds.

Piston Pump

With a proven piston pump, you will be reliably equipped for applying spray liquid or insecticides in your garden. A low number of wearing parts and sturdy technology ensure a long service life and minimum maintenance. The large filling aperture for convenient filling of the tank and smooth-running pump make spraying pleasant work. The ergonomic design contours to your back for greater comfort.

The long-lasting brass wiper ensures easy refilling of the tank and a comfortable ergonomic inking position combined with less stress on the wearer’s back, shoulder, or neck.

What kind of warranty is provided?

A 1-year warranty is provided on all parts and labor. If a product malfunction occurs due to defects in materials or workmanship, call them and they will be more than happy to send replacement parts.

How does the warranty work?

All returned units must have all parts for re-assembly with the exception of return shipping cost and deductible charge.

How long will the sprayer last with proper maintenance?

This sprayer will last many years of moderate use. Each component is made to be durable, but it may need periodic maintenance and cleaning. For example, the impeller filter needs regular cleaning and the hose should be checked for abrasions every few months depending on your spraying schedule and severity of washing at those times (it’s an easy way to identify any serious problems).

What are the padded straps and pull tabs for?

The padded straps and pull tabs are to be used during the adjustment process. They can also help secure spray of a hooked edge if the pail is tipping over into that position, but remember those fine screens (dust holes) get cleaned pretty frequently too! In other words. Keep checking since they’re important workhorses just like everything else on this list.

5 Things You Need To Know Before Buying Solo 425 Backpack Sprayer

When it comes to backpack sprayers, there are a lot of options on the market. It can be hard to make the right choice when you’re looking for a sprayer that’s lightweight, easy to use, and works for all types of weed. We have put together this buying guide to help you find the best backpack sprayer for your needs.

Adjustable Nozzle:

No matter what type of nozzle you want to buy, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First and foremost, you should decide how much coverage area your landscape needs. Then, figure out how large the area is going to be. Finally, narrow down your choices by finding the best brands and prices for each one.

The Flat Nozzle offers a simple, durable design that is perfect for those who want an easy-to-use and efficient lawn care product. This sprayer features a lightweight body and a flip-up adjustable nozzle for precision control. The soap dispenser is also removable for easy filling. Most of these sprayers are powered by 12V and include an automatic shutoff feature, making them perfect for all your small- to medium-sized lawn tasks.

Unbreakable wand

Most of the Solo 425 backpack sprayers are durable, easy-to-use, and convenient tool for spraying your lawn or garden. These units feature a polypropylene tank that holds up to 425 gallons of water and a power cord for easy portability.

The backpack straps and pouches allow you to carry the sprayer around while keeping it safe from bumps or drops. The backpack weighs up to 14 pounds and includes a hose, splash guard assembly, pressure gauge calibrations, and head tube extension lanyard. There is also a detachable unit that adds more flexibility for easy usage in your garden work.

The main problem with this item is the hose. But, for me, it’s still a good sprayer but not good enough to be called an unbreakable wand.

Whether you’re an avid landscaper or just looking for something casual and easy-to-use around your home, these four-gallon plastic wands are affordable and durable options that will withstand taxing backyard chores.

Commercial Shut-off Valve

This commercial shut-off valve securely locks when not in use, making it easy to transport your sprayer. The wand must be removed to engage the lock. The commercial shut-off has the same locking mechanism as the personal version above, and it also adds a momentary switch that protects your spray nozzle from malfunction or damage when used in buried irrigation systems or other situations where water may get trapped under pressure. The alternate action button safety feature creates a ball within each case cover for extra water to enter during pressure relief.

Price Range:

Budget and convenience are the two most common factors that influence our buying decisions. One of the most important considerations when purchasing any piece of outdoor equipment is what it will be used for. We have compiled a list of some of the most popular recreational gear to help you decide which products are best suited for your needs.

Different types of pumps:

There are two main types of pumps-piston and diaphragm. Piston pumps are more common, but they can be less efficient because they require a lot of force to move the fluid. Diaphragm pumps are more efficient, but they can be less durable.

What is the difference between a high-performance pump and a standard pump?

A standard pump is designed to move a small amount of water at a time, while a high-performance pump is designed to move a large amount of water at a time. This means that the high-performance pump is more efficient in terms of how much water it can spray in a given amount of time.

The main reason why you would need a high-performance pump is if you’re using it for agricultural purposes. For example, if you’re spraying crops with water to get them wet enough so that they can start absorbing nutrients from the soil, then a high-performance pump would be ideal. Similarly, if you’re trying to douse an area with water quickly and efficiently in order to extinguish a fire, then a high-performance pump would be your best option.

Overall, the main difference between standard and high- performance pumps is that the former is less effective than the latter when it comes to moving large amounts of water quickly and efficiently. If this is what you need in order to achieve your goal, then go for the highest-performance pump available!
